Background

I was so happy to have come up with my Orsetto Interiors business name as I had been thinking about different options, literally, for years. The next step was to come up with the concept for my logo. Oh boy, was that harder than what I had anticipated! Finally, after much collaboration with a dear friend and taking into account logo psychology and colour psychology she came up with a wonderful concept.

Inspiration

The entrance of a cave. As orsetto means little bear, and caves are where they hibernate, I found it very fitting. Also, historically we humans found shelter in caves and caves were our first "homes or interiors".

Colour

I chose the colour teal because of what it means to me.  Teal is a combination of green and blue that creates a shade symbolizing gentleness, calmness and serenity (of blue) and strength, nature, growth as well as high-spiritedness (of green).
